Healing Words with Danielle Ofri, M.D., Ph.D.

“Healing Words” is a series of interviews with visiting writers sponsored by Center for Humanities in Medicine and broadcast on Mayo’s patient television network.

Dr. Danielle Ofri, physician, writer and editor, has courageously written about facing her own fears in her latest book, “What Doctors Feel, How Emotions Affect the Practice of Medicine.” She is a physician at Bellevue Hospital, associate professor of medicine at NYU and co-founder and Editor-in-Chief of the Bellevue Literary Review.

Host and Author, Jacquelyn Fletcher, facilitates a writing exercise where she asks viewers to write about a time when they were courageous.
